Parks, Popsicles, & Play: Smithville Historic Park

🌳 A sweet spin-off of our Toddler Adventure Club series!

Parks, Popsicles, & Play is a new outdoor meetup series designed to help toddlers and preschoolers connect, explore, and create in some of South Jersey’s most beautiful parks with wide-open green spaces. Each week, we’ll check out a different location—combining playful activities with a short guided nature walk, an easy craft, and time for unstructured connection and fun.

We’ll meet in the late afternoon, after nap time and out of the brightest, hottest part of the day, for a playful mix of storytime, music, movement, and interactive activities. Then we’ll head out on a short, toddler-friendly hike through the park.

Kiddos will decorate their own felt popsicle holder, a fun keepsake to use all summer long—and at the end of our adventure, each child will receive a popsicle to enjoy using their new creation!

After the session, families are welcome to stick around to enjoy the playground, spread out a blanket for a picnic, or kick off an early dinner in the park with new friends.

This week, we’re heading to Smithville Historic Park in Eastampton, NJ—where we’ll take a peaceful stroll through the historic grounds and explore the Butterfly Garden, a beautiful spot filled with colorful blooms, buzzing bees, and fluttering wings. It’s a stroller-friendly walk with plenty to see and enjoy for curious little ones.

🧒 Who’s Invited? Designed for children ages 1–4 and their caregivers. Siblings are welcome!
💵 Cost: $15 per child | $5 for siblings | Siblings under 1 attend free

All activities in the Parks, Popsicles, & Play series are thoughtfully designed and led by Miss Ally from Ally’s Creative Club, who holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and brings a playful, developmentally rich approach to every meetup.
