Toddler Adventure Club

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with your little explorer!

This May, join the Toddler Adventure Club, a series designed to spark curiosity, encourage social connections, and create lasting family memories. 🌱🎒 Each week, we'll venture into fun and new locations such as nature centers, wildlife refuges, and farms across South Jersey, where our young adventurers will engage in nature-inspired learning, socialization, and exploration. Each session will begin with a location-appropriate welcome song, followed by sensory experiences, music, and interactive stories or activities tailored to the theme of the week led by Ally from Ally's Creative Club. We'll then head out on a guided nature walk or tour of the farm together and later explore each location and all it has to offer!

Schedule:

The series begins on Saturday, May 3 and runs 5 weeks with our final session on Saturday, May 31. Each adventure begins at 9:30am and will conclude around 11am, but of course is flexible if you are having a great time and decide you want to stay longer (location dependent). You may sign up for all 5 weeks (at a discount) or just drop in to one.

• 🐦 Saturday, May 3 — Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge (Medford, NJ)
  • BIRDS: Flap your wings and follow the sound of the trees! We’ll build nests, explore feathers in sensory bins, and make our own little birds with colorful craft materials. Our story features bird families and nests, and we’ll sing high-flying songs with scarves and shakers. Then, we’ll walk the trail and listen for chirps and flutters in the trees.
• 🦙 Saturday, May 10 — Morning Glori Farmette (Marlton, NJ)
  • ALPACAS: Wander the farmette and meet some fluffy new friends! This week includes cozy farm-themed stations like scooping oats, pretend animal grooming, and texture play. We’ll read a story about alpacas and farms, sing calming animal songs, and meet real alpacas up close. Children will make a simple take-home alpaca craft to remember the day.
• 🐸 Saturday, May 17 — Rancocas Nature Center (Westampton, NJ)
  • FROGS: Hop into the world of frogs as we explore the pond life all around us! We’ll start with squishy, water-inspired sensory bins, leaping games, and a hands-on frog craft. Story time features a playful frog-themed book, paired with counting and movement songs that get little ones jumping. Then we’ll explore the trails and see if we can spot places frogs might hide or splash.
• 🐄 Saturday, May 24 — Muddy Paws Farm Rescue (Southampton, NJ)
  • Cluck, moo, baa! Let’s explore the farm and play! This week’s play stations include scooping corn, farmyard-themed sensory play, and hands on animal inspired activities perfect for little farmers. We’ll read a story all about friendly farm animals and sing silly barnyard songs with scarves and shakers. Then it’s time to meet the animals in real life on a guided tour of the farm!
• 🐞 Saturday, May 31 — Scotland Run Nature Center (Williamstown, NJ)
  • Tiny explorers, get ready to crawl, wiggle, and discover the bugs all around us! We’ll explore colorful bug-themed sensory bins, make fingerprint bug art, and sing playful bug songs with lots of movement. After story time, we’ll set out on a guided hike to search for hidden critters along the trail. We’ll look under logs, peek into leaves, and see what tiny treasures we can find!

Please note: Many of these locations are not typically open at 9:30 AM on weekends — we’ve arranged private access or early openings just for our group!

Who’s Invited:

• The club is designed for toddlers who are walking up to 4 years old. Because we'll complete a nature walk or tour each week, confident walking is helpful. Opening circle activities are best suited developmentally for toddlers 12 months and older.
• However, if you have an infant/non-mobile baby and would still like to join for the family experience, you are MORE than welcome — just know the activities are geared toward mobile toddlers.

Cost:

• $35 per drop-in for the whole family!
• Includes lessons, themed activities, and guided nature walks led by Ally from Ms. Ally's Creative Club. Includes access/admission costs to each location for your family.
• A family includes 2 adults and 2 children over 12 months
  • If your family has fewer than 2 adults and 2 children, the price remains the same as venue arrangements have been made on a per family/per car basis

  • Siblings under 12 months are free! 👶

Please note: Due to parking restrictions at several venues, each family must arrive in one car.
