  • Funny Farm Rescue (Mays Landing): 

    Every year millions of animals are euthanized throughout the United States. A majority of them are euthanized because of lack of homes, having special needs or old age.

    It is especially difficult to find homes for unwanted farm animals. Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary has created a home for unwanted farm animals, domesticated animals and animals with special needs to live out their natural lives. Open Sunday and Tuesday from 8 am – 4 pm. Learn more here.

  • Johnson’s Corner Farm (Medford): Johnson's Farm has it all! This spot is very kid-friendly has hayrides, U-pick options, tons of events and more... This family-friendly area of the farm includes two pedal go-kart courses, a pretend farm village for tots, age-appropriate jungle gyms, sandboxes, 3 splash pads , climbing rock, and shaded patio seating for dining. You can also visit with Farmer Johnson’s goats, cows, ducks, chickens, miniature donkeys, and sheep. Play on the Wacky Bridge and Rope Maze together, as well as the tunnel slides and so much more!   • PAWS Farm (Mount Laurel): Paws Discovery Farm is a premiere destination for family fun located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey with more than 100 animals as well as indoor and outdoor exploration opportunities on nine acres! Open seasonally from May-September. Learn more here.
  • Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge (Medford): Cedar Run includes the Woodford Nature Center, a Wildlife Housing Area with nearly 60 native residents, and a Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital that sees more than 6,000 wild animals each year. The overall mission of Cedar Run is to serve as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems for all.   • Muddy Paws Farm Rescue (Southampton): Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is dedicated to rescuing farm animals who are neglected, abused, bound for slaughter, or for other reasons, need a new forever home.   • Mount Laurel Animal Hospital (Mt. Laurel): Our farm animals love visitors so stop by and see for yourself! We are set amidst a lush 16 acres, inclusive of a large, fully functioning farm that is home to longhorn cattle, goats, emu, alpaca, sheep, and more!   • Morning Glori Farmette (Marlton): Our mission at Morning Glori Farmette is to provide a family friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed. Our hope is every guest leaves the farmette filled with joy that overflows into the rest of their day! Their mostly by appointment only, but they do have alpaca feedings and visits once per month.   • Misty Meadow Sheep Dairy Farm (Woodbine): At Misty Meadow Farm, we raise East Friesian Dairy Sheep. After lambing, the ewe and lamb stay together for 30 days before separating. We milk our flock twice a day seasonally and make dairy products, such as cheese, yogurt & frozen treats in small batches with the fresh sheep’s milk. Our sheep are fed non-GMO grain feed and hay, along with grazing and added minerals. We enjoy having people visit the farm and so do our sheep, goats, dogs and chickens! We also have a playground!   • Duffield's Farm (Sewell): Duffield's is family run and operated for over 60 years with a growing family now in our 5th generation. Our four-post market has expanded into a family managed market, bakery & deli. We have also added many outdoor activities in both the Spring & Fall seasons including birthday parties, hayrides, and educational field trips. Our farm is also family managed and run year-round with several seasonal migrant workers during the busy season.   • Scotland Run Nature Center (Williamstown): The Nature Center features live animals such as snakes, aquatic ecosystems, frogs and more. Walking trails are located behind the Nature Center and also on the lake-side of the park. The Nature Center offers many programs throughout the year for both children and adults. The playground and picnic areas are across the street from the Nature Center. The Nature Center is open Thursdays and Fridays from 1-4pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm. Learn more here.
  • Lots of Love Farm (Williamstown): Our Animal Sanctuary offers a petting zoo, pony rides, birthday parties & seasonal events in a down on the farm environment!! Open 11am-3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
  • Hidden Hill Farm (Mantua): Hidden Hill Farm is owned and operated by Tara Iannacone-Bauersfeld. It's a privately owned farm with alpacas, sheep, mini cows, mini donkeys, and goats. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm. More info here.

  • Coombs Barnyard (Elmer): Sisters, Amanda & Jennifer Coombs began Coombs Barnyard in 2008 with the goal of sharing an authentic agricultural experience with the community around them. Amanda now runs the business with her three children, Austin, Mason and Georgia who are the 10th generation on their family farm!
