Get ready for a prehistoric adventure at the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum!

We’ll gather at 9:45 AM to kick off the morning with a dinosaur-themed storytime and some fun music & movement activities to set the stage for our fossil dig. Around 10:15 AM, the Edelman Fossil Park staff will join us to share more about the quarry dig experience. This is a real fossil dig where you can uncover actual dinosaur bones in a quarry that has been active for many years and studied by scientists from around the world.

Each participant will then have the chance to dig in the quarry for up to 60 minutes and can take home up to three fossils they discover. If little ones finish early or don't want to stay the whole 60 minutes, the nearby dinosaur-themed playground will be open for extra fun.

Important Details:
👟 Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes are required (rubber boots recommended for muddy/wet conditions)
🎟 Tickets: $30 per person for ages 3 and up, $10 per person for ages 2 and under. (This event is designed for children walking-4 years old) Non-mobile siblings are welcome for free.
